Description

Transgenic construct used to study a chromatin boundary element. Contains a w enhancer, separated from a w minigene by a loxP cassette that includes a 1583bp fragment from the 1.6kb intergenic region which separates myo and ey (this fragment contains the ME boundary element). A scs' insulator is located downstream of the w minigene.
