construct_comment: A 5.1kb genomic fragment corresponding to the region just proximal to Hsp70Ba (nucleotides 102552-107652 of BACR28I14) has been inserted into pP{W25} using NotI and Acc65I sites. A 4.25kb genomic fragment corresponding to the region just distal to Hsp70Bc (nucleotides 154363-158608 of BACR28I14) has been inserted into pP{W25} using AscI and NotI sites (these sites were inserted using olignucleotides cloned into the AscI site of pP{W25}).Donor ends-out targeting construct which is designed to result in deletion of the Hsp70 genes at 87C (Hsp70Ba, Hsp70Bbb, Hsp70Bb and Hsp70Bc) in a targeting event.
