The PBac{5HPw+} transgene is a Tni\piggyBac element into which a w+mC marker and a P-element 5' terminus have been inserted, disrupting the open reading frame of the Tni\piggyBac\T transposase gene. The inserted sequences are in the opposite orientation to the direction of transcription of Tni\piggyBac\T.
