Description

The eve 5' promoter from -275 to +11 bp, a 38bp multicloning sequence and eve DNA from +91 to +99bp are inserted upstream of a chimeric coding region consisting of the Scer\GAL4 DNA binding domain followed by a Tag:HA tag fused to the eve R+C region (amino acid 140 to the C-terminus). The elements for eve early stripes 1 and 5, from +6.6kb to +8.2kb, drive expression of this construct.
