Aberrant repair event after excision of the P{hswa}sdwa insertion, resulting in loss of w activity. The left and right boundaries of the repair product are (relative to the ends of P{hswa}, with positive values reading into the P-element and negative values indicating a loss of flanking sequences): 2561/287. There is also an insertion of nucleotides at the junction.
