Expression is observed in sensory neurons in the dorso-medial part of the antenna.

ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323 drives expression in one gustatory receptor neuron of the larval terminal organ. This neuron also expresses ScerGAL4Gr63a.0.8.

ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323 and ScerGAL4Gr63a.PF both drive expression in a CO[[2]]-sensitive neuron in antennal basiconic sensilla ab1 adult olfactory receptor neuron Gr21a/63a, also known as ORN ab1C). Olfactory neurons expressing these two GAL4 drivers converge upon antennal lobe glomerulus V. ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323 also drives expression in two neurons innervating the larval terminal organ, one of which coexpresses ScerGAL4Gr63a.PF; expression in the other neuron may be ectopic.

ScerGAL4Gr21a.9.323 labels one neuron in the terminal organ of the larva and the olfactory receptor neuron Gr21a that projects to the antennal lobe glomerulus V. Both of these cells also express ScerGAL4Gr63a.0.8.
