Description

A heat shock promoter drives expression of a portion of the genomic region of para from 229bp upstream of the RNA editing site to 174bp downstream from the end of the predicted editing site-complementary sequence (ECS). Act5C 3' untranslated sequences are present downstream of the para sequences. This construct contains the normal 5' splice donor site for the para editing exon but lacks the normal 3' acceptor site.
