Description

A 4.0kb fragment of sequence from the ph-p regulatory region (coordinates 1397-5329 of FBrf0054014) has been inserted into pP{CaSpeR-AUG-βgal}, in between the w+mC marker and lacZ reporter sequence. The ph-p sequence does not contain sufficient regulatory sequence to initiate a pattern of lacZ expression that reflects wild-type ph-p expression.
