Description

P{A92} is an enhancer trap construct that contains at its 5' end the relatively weak P\T promoter fused upstream of sequence encoding the lacZ reporter enzyme (the lacZ sequence is fused in-frame to the second exon of the P\T coding sequence).

The lacZ reporter encoded by the P{A92} construct is localized to the nucleus, because it is fused to the N-terminal 125 amino acid residues of P\T.
