ScerGAL4^MD735 drives expression in the wing disc in a wide band in the center of the wing pouch, aligned with the A/P axis, in the wing hinge primordium, and in the alula anlage. In the eye disc, ScerGAL4^bi-md653 drives expression at the dorsal and ventral margins of the main epithelium, and in the retinal basal glia. In contrast to native bi expression, and expression driven by ScerGAL4^bi-md653, ScerGAL4^MD735 has minimial expression in the antennal and leg discs, and is not expressed in pupal abdominal tergites.
