I have located the insertion P{GawB}prosV1 (FBti0010694) to  3R:11372578 .
Method: I used the description from Grosjean et al., 2001 (FBrf0137245), "216 bp upstream of the start of transcription" together with the sequence they cited from Vaessin 1991 (FBrf0053403 pubmedID 1720353). <up>I identified the GenBank accession through a search of GenBank using the author, year, organism and gene.</up>  I located he site of insertion in GenBank M81389.1 and the used 110 bp around it to BLAST the Drosophila melanogaster reference genome through two services: FlyBase BLAST release=r6.30; species=Dmel AND NCBI genome blast NCBI Reference Sequence: NT_033777.3).
