The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Stock Center by Tom Hartl and Matt Scott, Stanford University. P{UAS-2xOsh2PH-GFP} is a pP{UAST}-based construct expressing a dimer of the Pleckstrin Homology domain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae Osh2 fused to GFP. The Pleckstrin Homology domain binds Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate; consequently, the fusion protein has been used to visualize PI(4)P distribution within the cell. The original construct used was a gift from Tamas Balla, NIH. P{UAS-2xOsh2PH-GFP}attP40 is a phiC31 integrase-mediated insertion into P{CaryP}attP40 at 25C6, 2L:5108448 (R5). P{UAS-2xOsh2PH-GFP}attP2 is a phiC31 integrase-mediated insertion into P{CaryP}attP2 at 68A4, 3L:11063638 (R5).
