The following information accompanied stocks donated to the Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Olena Riabinina and Christopher Potter, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
P{tub-QS.P}E is a homozygous and hemizygous viable and fertile insertion on the X chromosome.
P{tub-QS.P.w-} expresses QS ubiquitously under the control of alphaTub84B. This insertion is a derivative of P{tub-QS.P}L1 (FBti0129981) where the mini-w+ gene in the insertion has been mutated by EMS and does not function.
P{tub-QS.P.w-}L1 is an insertion on the second chromosome balancer, CyO.
