"We generated 4 small deletions using FLPase and FRT-bearing P-elements or PiggyBac
insertions as described before (Parks et al., 2004; Thibault et al., 2004). The following
insertions were used: pXPd10386 and PBacWHf01638 (to generate a deletion from
79E3 to 79E6); pXPCG11426 d05846 and PBacRBe01384 (to generate a deletion
from 79E4 to 80A1’); pXPCG11367 d05379 and PBacRB e01384 (to generate a
deletion from 80A1 to 80A1’); pXPCG11367 d05379 and PBacRB e02858 (to
generate a deletion from 80A1 to 80B1)."

The four Dfs correspond to the bottom four green Dfs in Figure 3 of the paper (FBrf0214681).  (The top red Df is Df(3L)ED230 and the top green line is Df(3L)Exel6138--even though it doesn't say it in the paper.)  We're thinking Df(3L)TO1 through 4 as symbols.  Here's the info for them:
