The following information accompanied stocks donated to the
Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center by Olaf Vef, University of Mainz (3/06).
P{tubP-GAL80}OV2 is an insertion in CyO and P{tubP-GAL80}OV3 is an
insertion in TM6B described in Vef et al. (2006), "A new strategy for
efficient in vivo screening of mutagenized Drosophila embryos",
Development, Genes and Evolution 216: 105-108.
The Bloomington Stock Center will use the following balancer short
names for these balancer variants:
CyO, P{w+mC=tubP-GAL80}OV2
TM6B, P{w+mC=tubP-GAL80}OV3, Tb1
