There are nice pseudoobscura and Anopheles orthologs, and the latter has ESTs. It is currently partly annotated by Hild et al in the TPA as HDC06808, however they splice from the middle of the third exon to a fourth distant downstream exon, which is not right and might even be a gene fusion. This downstream gene does have ESTs supporting it, so you might want to look into it too. There are no ESTs or any other data I can find for this gene in Drosophila. Thanks, Hugh
