The purified uno-SA2 complex was mixed with Cy5 labeled DNA. DNA-protein complexes observed by EMSA were used to deduce protein-protein interactions. Mutated basic amino acids in both SA2 and uno reduced binding in Fig4E. However, due to unspecified techniques, the experiment was left out.
