The C/D small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein complex (C/D snoRNP) is a ribosome processing complex that catalyzes the site-specific 2'-O-methylation of ribosomal RNAs using box C/D snoRNAs as guides and assist the assembly of ribosomes. (Adapted from PMID:22065625 and FBrf0190937).
