Description
Description
The Plexins are transmembrane axon guidance proteins that serve as receptors for semaphorins. (Adapted from FBrf0208160).
Notes on Group

In Drosophila, PlexA binds strongly to Sema1a and Sema1b and mediates the Sema-dependent repulsion of embryonic motor axons, while PlexB binds Sema2a and mediates the Sema2a-dependent repulsion of motor and sensory axons (FBrf0208160).
