Acute optogenetic activation (using Zzzz\ChRChrimson.IVS.Syn21.lexAop.tdTomato with 530 nm (green) light activation) of Ecol\lexAGMR38B08 neurons in the distal ipsilateral prothoracic leg activates Scer\GAL4GMR69C05 (adult midline local mechanosensory system) neurons; activation in the proximal ipsilateral prothoracic leg is inhibitory and can suppress the excitation of Scer\GAL4GMR69C05 neurons caused by mechanical bristle stimulation in the distal leg, compared to controls.
