      Flies homozygous or hemizygous for Bxhdp67-2 have held-up wings, with occasional defects in the cross-veins. The wings are small compared to wild type. Between 10 and 20% of flies are missing one or two bristles from the anterior pair of the four thoracic dorsocentral bristles. This is increased to >85% in Bxhdp67-2/Df(1)N19 females. Flies also show locomotor defects, having difficulty in standing and walking.

      One copy of Bxhdp67-2 partially rescues the wing scalloping phenotype seen in Bx5-1/+ flies.

      One copy of Bxhdp67-2 partially rescues the wing scalloping phenotype seen in Bx2/+ flies.
