Expressing Vps26^HMS01769 under the control of either Scer\GAL4^insc-Mz1407 or Scer\GAL4^pnt-14-94 results in supernumerary neuroblasts in the larval brain; the same can also be observed upon Scer\GAL4^GMR9D11-driven expression, depending on the Scer\GAL4^GMR9D11 insertion.

Expression of Vps26^HMS01769 driven by Scer\GAL4^GMR.PU causes an eye phenotype with presence of black lesions (in around 36% of mutant flies, compared to 3% in controls).
