Expression of Atg4C98A.Scer\UAS using Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP results in basal autophagy defects in larval fat body cell somatic clones.

Expression of Atg4C98A.Scer\UAS using Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP inhibits starvation-induced autophagic response in larval fat body cell somatic clones. Ultrastructural analysis reveals the lack of autolysosomes in fat body cells, although small autophagosome-like structures are occasionally observed.
