Expression of Bper\ptxAScer\UAS.cYa under the control of either Scer\GAL4CCAP.PP or Scer\GAL4Pburs.PP reduces the duration of pupal pre-ecdysis behavior stage, while expression under two copies of Scer\GAL4Lk.PM has no significant effect on the stage length.
Expression of Bper\ptxAScer\UAS.cYa under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG does not affect sexual receptivity or egg-laying rate in virgin females. However, in mated females, normal postmating behaviour is strongly suppressed with the mutant females retaining a high level of sexual receptivity and a low egg-laying rate.
