ClkT:SV5\V5/+ flies (carrying an extra copy of Clk) do not display significant loss of behavioral rhythmicity as the proportion of rhythmic flies as well as the rhythmic power of the behavioral oscillations in an adult locomotor activity assay and their average free-running period in constant darkness is comparable to controls.
Flies carrying several copies of ClkT:SV5\V5 have a shorter circadian locomotor activity period than control flies.
ClkTag:V5, Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf is a suppressor | partially of abnormal circadian rhythm phenotype of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf, shnUAS.cMa
Clk[+]/ClkTag:V5 is a non-suppressor of abnormal locomotor rhythm | adult stage phenotype of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf, Srrm1KK108396
The loss of rhythmicity in locomotor activity under free-running (constant darkness) conditions characteristic for flies expressing SRm160KK108396 (and UAS-dicer2 to enhance the RNAi efficiency) under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf cannot be rescued by addition of a single copy of ClkT:SV5\V5.
The presence of ClkT:SV5\V5 partially rescues the long period phenotype found upon expression of shnScer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf.
ClkT:SV5\V5 significantly rescues the arrhythmic locomotor behaviour of Clkar flies.
