      Expression of l(1)scKK103581 under the control of Scer\GAL4Fas3-NP1233 (raised at 18[o]C and shifted to 29[o]C from the early third instar larval stage) does not affect proximal inner proliferation center (p-IPC) or cell stream formation in the optic lobes of wandering third instar larvae. The number of dpn-neuroblasts is reduced and their progeny are affected. ~30% fewer progenitors per optic lobe undergo mitosis at the base of cell streams.
