Animals expressing Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4grh.D4 are viable, no obvious defects in larval dorsal trunk elongation and airway morphology are observed and the larvae are of comparable size to age-matched controls.

Male control flies fed methamphetamine (3 or 6 mg/ml) have significantly increased activity, whereas Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a>Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP flies only show a slight but significant increase in activity at 6 mg/ml (not 3 mg/ml); Scer\GAL4ChAT.7.4>Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP flies show a highly significant increase in activity when fed 3mg/ml methamphetamine.

Flies with expression of Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP driven by Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a (but not Scer\GAL4ChAT.7.4) survive longer than wild type flies fed 3 or 6 mg/ml methamphetamine.

Unlike control flies, Scer\GAL4Appl.G1a>Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP flies do not show a significant increase in activity in response to caffeine; there is no effect on caffeine-induced mortality.

The kinetics of maturation of phagosomes containing pHrodo-conjugated S. aureus by adult hemocytes expressing Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Hml.Δ are not significantly different from those seen in control hemocytes.

Expression of Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4tj-NP1624 results in the production of round eggs.

Expression of Rab10T23N.Scer\UAS.P\T.T:Avic\GFP-YFP under the control of Scer\GAL4ninaE.PT does not result in light-dependent retinal degeneration (flies raised under 12 hour light/12 our dark conditions show a normal electroretinogram amplitude at 3 weeks of age).
