    Description

Mutation is predicted to result in deletion of the 68 C-terminal amino acid residues, which include the 5 C-terminal residues of the homeodomain.

    Amino acid replacement: W240term.

    Reported amino acid change:

    W240term

    Comment:

G to A nucleotide change at the second or third position of the Trp codon leads to a nonsense mutation. (exact site of mutation unspecified). This results in the deletion of the 68 C-terminal amino acid residues, which include the 5 C-terminal residues of the homeodomain.

    Reference

The majority of C15cll-dl92 mutants develop into pharate adults and some eclose. C15cll-dl92 flies are missing claws on the legs, the arista of the antenna, and bristles in the medial notum and the ocellus.
