The expression of robo2Δcyto.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4Pdf.PU results in adult sLNv neurons exhibiting significantly longer axon projections and overshooting their targets, as compared to controls; this defect occurs in the late pupa.

Expression of robo2Δcyto.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu in embryos results in ectopic crossing of the midline by Fas2-positive axons in all segments.

At 29oC, 5.4% of abdominal segments have partial or complete transformation of lch5 chordotonal organ morphology towards that of the thoracic dch3 chordotonal organs, in larvae expressing leaΔcyto.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL448Y. In addition, 9% of thoracic segments show transformation of the dch3 chordotonal organs to a morphology resembling that of abdominal lch5 chordotonal organs in these animals.
