marginal cell | distal (with Df(2L)net62)
wing vein | ectopic (with Df(2L)net62)
wing vein | ectopic (with netunspecified)
Homozygotes have an additional fragment of vein in the third dorsal wing cell, near the middle of the longitudinal anal vein. The phenotype is about 80% penetrant in homozygotes and the length of the extra vein varies. netB27/netunspecified animals have an additional wing vein fragment in the wing, which sometimes forms as a small branch deviating from the posterior crossvein in the third dorsal wing cell. Df(2L)net62/netB27 animals have additional fragments of wing vein or branches of wing vein material in the second and third dorsal wing cells and in the distal part of marginal and sub-marginal wing cells.
Homozygotes have extra wing vein material in the 3rd dorsal wing compartment, near the middle of the anal longitudinal vein. The phenotype shows incomplete penetrance and variable expression.
