When pbScer\UAS.cMa is driven by Scer\GAL4how-24B, transformation of the T2 segment with a posterior central projection (PV) is seen, in addition to an occasional ectopic anterior ventral projection (AV). Occasionally the ventral oblique muscle in segment T2, as well as reduced PVs in T3 and A1. Reduced development of the gastric caecum is seen, as well as a subtle thickening of the midgut visceral mesoderm and a slightly enlarged first midgut chamber.
