[60C7-60C7];[60D1-60D1];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
60C7;60D1
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Df(2R)BSC603/Df(2R)Exel6082 transheterozygotes are viable but show a blistered wing phenotype; the indirect flight muscles are correctly specified but there are myofibril defects (low polymerized actin content), while the jump muscles appear normal.
Inferred to overlap with: Df(2R)ED4065.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.WH5}BSC603 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2R)BSC603 predicted from the Release 5 genomic coordinates of the progenitor P{XP}bsd01376 and PBac{WH}CG13579f00432 insertion sites are 60C7;60D1.
