In combination with other aberrations

Male and female sterile in transheterozygous combination with Df(3R)ΔmiRNA.

In(3R)iab7SGA/Df(3R)P9 have strong transformation of the sixth and seventh adult abdominal segment is seen to the fifth and partial transformation of the fifth to the fourth.

NOT in combination with other aberrations

Flies have dominant tumour-like growths on the back of the head that are composed of tissue similar to the sixth tergite.

Recessive transformation of sixth and seventh abdominal segment into fifth. In heterozygotes, shows tumor-like growths of sixth tergite tissue on back of head; also partial transformation of sixth segment into fifth.
