The expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU leads to a small but significant decrease in wing size, as compared to controls.

Expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4tey-5053A results in an increase in the number of tracheal branches that terminate on ventrolateral body wall muscle 12 compared to controls.

Overexpression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa in the larval brain under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 does not affect neuroblast number.

Expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa in the developing tracheal system under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS generates dorsal trunk breaks in 18% of embryos.

Expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa in the adult brain under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu results in neurodegeneration, and cell-cycle activation is also observed.

The co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa does not suppress the decreased wing size induced by the expression of SmoxNIG.2262R under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU.

The reactivation defects in central brain neuroblasts (high proportion of the cells retain the cellular extensions, one of the hallmarks of the quiescent state) observed in third instar larvae expressing ChroKK105370 under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407 cannot be rescued by co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa.

The small eye phenotype of Scer\GAL4ey.PH ligR185C.Scer\UAS.UTR flies is partially rescued by co-expression of thEP3723 or CycEScer\UAS.cUa, and rescued further by co-expression of both thEP3723 or CycEScer\UAS.cUa.

Co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa and p53Scer\UAS.Ex generates a significant increase in ectopic neuroblasts in a numb15 mutant background, compared to overexpression of p53Scer\UAS.Ex alone in a numb15 mutant background.

Co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa can partially suppress the neuroblast-loss phenotype induced by overexpression of p53Scer\UAS.Ex under the control of Scer\GAL4insc-Mz1407.

The rough-eye phenotype observed in animals expressing Hsap\MAPTE14.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is enhanced by co-expression of CycEScer\UAS.cUa.
