Nucleotide change:

G15233286A

Amino acid change:

M2495I | tefu-PB

Reported amino acid change:

M2157I

Comment:

One of two nucleotide changes in mutant. Probably not primarily responsible for the phenotype. The difference between the annotated and the reported site of the amino acid change is due to the authors description of a 2429 residue protein, compared to the currently annotated 2767 residue polypeptide. Position of mutation on reference sequence inferred by FlyBase curator.

Nucleotide change:

G15235234A

Comment:

Nucleotide change: GT changed to AT in the splice donor, leading to retention of intron 21. Translation continues past the peptide sequence SLQQAEDFCQ into the retained intron, adding the novel MMVSWEFCDVLF sequence before reaching a premature stop codon. One of two nucleotide changes observed in mutant. The difference between the annotated and the reported site of the amino acid change is due to the authors description of a 2429 residue protein, compared to the currently annotated 2767 residue polypeptide. Position of mutation on reference sequence inferred by FlyBase curator.
