arm^{Δ.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1} causes a 'naked' phenotype, in which the denticles normally located in the anterior of each embryonic segment are partially or completely replaced with naked cuticle, when expressed in a wild-type or ci^Ce-1 background using Scer\GAL4^hs.PB.

Homozygous embryos fail to form ventral naked cuticle and are covered with a lawn of denticles.
