[39A4-39A4];[39B2-39B2];
A set of ~800 largely isogenic deficiency stocks created by FLP-induced recombination between FRT-carrying transgenic insertions; molecularly defined deletion endpoints correspond to initial location of the progenitor insertions. Designed to fill gaps in deletion coverage and breakpoint placement; also used to replace older available deficiencies that have not been molecularly mapped.
39A4;39B2
Breakpoint from FlyBase's release 5 sequence location of progenitor insertion.
Lethal in combination with Df(2L)Exel6047.
Df(2L)BSC312 mutants are nearly larval lethal.
The presence of P+PBac{XP5.RB3}BSC312 was verified using the PCR methods and primers described in FBrf0175003 with the substitution of the primer 5'-CCAATGCGTTTATTTCAGGTCACG-3' for the RB3' plus or RB3' minus primer in the Hybrid PCR protocol in the Supplementary Methods.
The cytological breakpoints of Df(2L)BSC312, predicted from the Release 5 genomic coordinates of the PBac{RB}dele02039 and P{XP}d03239 progenitor transposable element insertions sites, are 39A4;39B2.
