AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
The GenBank nucleotide accession AF182444 that originally defined the 'TO42' locus (FBgn0029115) is a 15,816 bp contiguous clone comprising the DIP1 (CG17686) gene (6,982-12,318bp) and an adjacent CDS (13,436-15,424bp; indicating a gap of ~1.1kb between genes) termed "TO42". Looking at GBrowse, this "TO42" must correspond to CG32500 (FBgn0052500). While the nucleotide and encoded protein sequence of CG32500 is identical with that of the upstream genes CG32857 and CG33502, the contiguous nature of AF182444 allows the specific association of "TO42" with CG32500.

FlyBase curator comment: The symbol "CG18856" has been used erroneously in FlyBase to name 2 separate annotations on AE003574 in different releases of the genome annotation. The two annotations have been renamed in release 3.2 to avoid confusion; they are CG32500 and CG33502. The more distal annotation is CG33502, which was labelled "CG18856" in release 2 of the genome annotation, was deleted in release 3.1 and has been restored in release 3.2 of the genome annotation. The more proximal annotation is CG32500, which was a new annotation in release 3.1 of the genome annotation, where it was labelled "CG18856".
