The Rhino-Deadlock-Cutoff (RDC) complex is a trimer that binds H3K9me3 and anchors itself onto dual-strand clusters. RDC complex regulates the non-canonical transcription and co-transcriptional processing of PIWI interacting RNA (piRNA) precursors and transposon silencing.
