Description
Description
In Drosophila, the Irre Cell Recognition Module (IRM) proteins consist of Neph-like and Nephrin-like immunoglobulin superfamily cell adhesion molecules. IRMs mediate heterophilic cell-cell recognition events throughout development, particularly with regard to the organization of highly repetitive structures. (Adapted from FBrf0228632.)
