Description
Description
Serine-arginine protein kinases (SRPKs) are a group of serine kinases that phosphorylate proteins with serine-arginine dipeptide repeats, particularly targeting the SR family of splicing factors. SRPKs are constitutively active. They contain a well-conserved kinase domain that is bifurcated by a large non-conserved insert domain. (Adapted from PMID:21205204).
