Term adult fruitless aSG7 neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00111146 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult fruitless neuron with its cell body in the anterior gnathal ganglion (von Phillipsborn et al., 2011). It is a projection neuron that has mainly ipsilateral dendritic arborization in the prow and flange (Sterne et al., 2021). It extends dorsally close to the midline on the ipsilateral side, then has axonal terminals in the superior medial protocerebrum, extending into both hemispheres (Sterne et al., 2021).[ FlyBase:FBrf0212984 FlyBase:FBrf0251280 ]
