General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or43a ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067048 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or43a (FBgn0026389). It innervates the antennal lobe glomerulus DA4l bilaterally, fasciculating with the antennal lobe commissure (Kaur et al., 2019). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal intermediate sensillum ai3. It expresses sNPF (Carlsson et al., 2010).
