Definition |
Neuron with a large anterolaterally-located cell body. This neuron runs along the surface of the lateral horn and makes dorsal and ventral branches in anterior and medial directions, respectively. The ventral branch crosses the midline to meet its contralateral counterpart and the dorsal branch projects to the ipsilateral ellipsoid body.[ FlyBase:FBrf0098811 ] |
