Definition |
Surface associated glial cell that lies along a dorsoventral channel of the larval ventral nerve cord (Ito et al., 1995). The cell bodies lie close to and send processes along the channel surface (Ito et al., 1995). The nuclei of these glial cells are smaller and more spherical compared to the flattened nuclei of the subperineurial glia (Ito et al., 1995).[ FlyBase:FBrf0082171 ] |
