Comment Disambiguation: Some authors consider 'exit glia' to be a distinct class (e.g. see Sepp et al., 2001). However, we follow a more recent system (von Hilchen, 2008) that considers exit glia cells to be a type of peripheral glia. Their nomenclature (ePG1-12) reflects this.
