Definition The innermost of the four oocyte haploid nuclei after the second meiotic division following fertilization. The other 3 nuclei form the polar body nuclei. The female pronucleus migrates to the center of the embryo to fuse with the male pronucleus.[ FlyBase:FBrf0064779 ]
