Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or82a ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067044 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or82a (FBgn0041621). It innervates the antennal lobe glomerulus VA6 bilaterally, fasciculating with the antennal lobe commissure (Kaur et al., 2019). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab5. It expresses sNPF (Carlsson et al., 2010).
